A village pub with a difference. Our passion is fresh, top quality, locally sourced, where possible, and a good range of draught beers, world class bottled beers, organic wines. Open all day for food: breakfast from 8.30am to 10am, to non-residents; serving lunch from 12-6pm and dinner from 6-9pm.

We offer the same menu throughout the bar and restaurant, with more formal restaurant dining on a booking basis and more relaxed walk-ins, in the bar. Daily specials and light bites available. We sell our freshly baked bread daily in the bar from 10am onwards. Local seasonal produce and fresh line caught fish from just up the coast in Lowestoft.

We also have seating for 150 outside on three terraces, with table service available for those warmer days.

Our renovated flint barn is a highly versatile space, equipped with a drop-down screen and a projector, ideal for business meetings, team building exercises or corporate training.

Free time relaxation can include everything from golf at several well established nearby courses, horse riding at Bramfield Equestrian Centre, sky diving for all levels at Beccles, aromatherapy massage within walking distance, River Blyth trips with Danni who also operates the Walberswick Foot Ferry or The Coastal Voyager from Southwold Harbour.

Our Hotel Accommodation:
We have 10 rooms in total, 6 garden chalet and 4 in the main Arts & Craft building.

The 6 eco cedar clad garden chalets each have their own outside seating area to enjoy an drink and listen to the sea across the dunes. All are en-suite and there are 3 dog-friendly rooms overlooking the back lawns.
All the rooms have a flat screen TV, with Freeview and IPod Alarm Clock docking Stations.

Ample free parking is provided with direct access to the beach, Dunwich Forest or the Marshes. RSPB Minsmere, Southwold and Aldeburgh are all close by.
