Built in 1553 the hotel has been sympathetically restored and upgraded retaining its heritage and many architectural features. We have 14 deluxe en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant, bar, and lounge. There is a secluded courtyard with heated umbrellas, and outside tables overlooking the Market Hill offering the perfect surroundings to enjoy table served refreshments in the Suffolk sunshine. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Framlingham Castle.
The hotel has full Disabled access and welcomes dogs.
The Crown and Castle, Orford is very Pet Friendly and has designated rooms where your pet can stay (and you!).
Fishers Hotel, Lowestoft allows dogs throughout the Hotel (except the restaurant) providing they are well behaved and kept on a lead.
The Great House in Lavenham, on the other hand, allows dogs in the bedrooms but not in the rest of the Hotel
The Bildeston Crown allows well behaved dogs in the pub but not in the bedrooms, and The Swan at Lavenham, Kesgrave Hall, and Milsoms Hotel and Restaurant allow dogs in the bar area but not in the bedrooms.
